PECOS, Texas — On Saturday, December 12, the United Supermarkets in Pecos will once again host a drive-thru flu shot clinic at 2783 S Cedar St.
The drive-thru clinic will be located in the parking lot. Upon arrival, a pharmacy team member will assist guests and collect their health insurance information. The clinic will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sergio Aguillon, store director in Pecos, said this will give folks from Pecos and surrounding communities another opportunity to get their seasonal flu shot with as much ease as possible.
“We had a lot of requests to once again do a drive-thru clinic,” Aguillon said. “We know these drive-thru clinics really help our guests get their flu shots in the most convenient way possible.”
Here are some things to remember when coming to the drive-thru clinics:

Bring both your prescription and medical insurance cards with you

Wear clothing that provides easy access to your upper arm

CDC recommends waiting 15 minutes after receiving an immunization. Feel free to wait in a designated parking place then enjoy the rest of your day
