Market Street & Kellogg’s joined forces to donate $5,000 to Concho Valley Food Bank
SAN ANGELO, Texas — On Wednesday, Market Street and Kellogg’s joined forces to donate $5,000 to the Concho Valley Food Bank as part of the Nourishing Neighbors initiative and the Feed the Love Campaign.
The funds donated will go to help the Concho Valley Food Bank continue its mission of battling hunger and food insecurity across the region. The $5,000 represents a total of 40,000 meals for clients of the food bank. In addition to the donation, Kellogg’s and Market Street team members worked to fill afterschool snack bags for kids across the community.
“At Market Street, we make it one of our main goals to help in the fight against hunger and food insecurity in our communities,” said Kylon Atteberry, store director for Market Street in San Angelo. “We are so thankful for this partnership with Kellogg’s. They have been phenomenal partners over the years, and we are glad for their help today in making this donation to such an important organization.”
Providing around 3 million pounds of food a year to those in need, the Concho Valley Food Bank has a huge impact on thousands of people across the City of San Angelo and the surrounding counties.
