PLANO, Texas — On Wednesday, in celebration of Cape Day at Children’s Health, Market Street presented Children’s Health with a check for $21,763.13. This was the total amount raised by the DFW community through contributions during a Market Street register fundraising campaign in support of the life-changing treatments, groundbreaking research, and high-quality care for patients at Children’s Health.
Market Street is a proud member of The Red Balloon League and supporter of Children’s Health and their mission to make life better for children.
“We are so thrilled with the response from the community on this fundraising campaign,” said Robert Bollinger, regional vice president for Market Street. “Children’s Health does incredible work for the children in our communities and we hope this fundraiser will help them continue doing that work. We are proud to support their mission of helping children.”
As one of the largest and most prestigious pediatric health care providers in the country and in North Texas, Children’s Health cares for children through more than 750,000 patient visits annually.
“We are grateful to Market Street for joining The Red Balloon League to help us raise funds to defend and protect our patient heroes,” said Brent Christopher, President of Children’s Medical Center Foundation. “The most courageous superheroes aren’t found on the big screen. They’re at Children’s Health battling cancer, heart disease, trauma, and everyday injuries, and depend on a league of extraordinary care to support them.”
