FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Santa Fe, NM) – Team members from Albertsons Market and Market Street in Santa Fe will donate 30,000 paper sacks to The Food Depot at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. The sacks will be used to bag food donations being distributed to Santa Fe and northern New Mexico families in need. The Food Depot has seen an increase in requests for food amid the COVID-19 crisis and required additional sacks for food distribution.
Five pallets of paper sacks will be presented at 11 a.m. in front of Market Street, located at 600 N. Guadalupe Street in Santa Fe.

The New Mexico Association of Food Banks represents five organizations that provide food bank services across the state: Roadrunner Food Bank in Albuquerque, The Food Depot in Santa Fe, Echo Food Bank in Farmington, The Community Pantry in Gallup, and the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico in Clovis.
