The United Family remains unaffected by Dole Salad Kit recall
LUBBOCK, Texas — On Thursday, February 8, Dole Fresh Vegetables, Inc. issued a voluntary recall of several salad kits due to a possible health risk from Listeria. All stores across The United Family in Texas and New Mexico are unaffected by this voluntary recall.
The United Family received confirmation of this via a letter from Dole on February 8. According to the letter, The United Family has not received any of the products/lots in question, and United does not need to take any further action in connection with the recall. This information was confirmed by United’s logistics team.
States impacted by the recall include Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
