Market Street & Mrs Baird’s Bread honor three North Texas area teachers as Teachers on the Rise for March
FRISCO, Texas — The United Family and Mrs Baird’s Bread® announced the March winners of the third annual Teachers On The Rise program. Since the program launched at the beginning of the school year, nominations have poured in from students and families across North Texas, explaining how their teacher(s) go above and beyond the call of duty and why they deserve special recognition.
Congratulations to our March winners: Jeremy Cooper of Stinson Elementary School (Plano ISD), Barb Smith of Willow Springs Middle School (Lovejoy ISD), and Melinda Eairheart of Allen High School Steam Center (Allen ISD).
“We are thrilled for this round of winners,” said Abie Rampy, director of public relations for The United Family. “Teachers serve a vital purpose in our communities and deserve recognition. With just two more months left in the school year, we encourage students to nominate their favorite teachers every month!”
“We know there are many teachers in our classrooms who deserve recognition, and we look forward to receiving many more nominations this spring,” said Shane Sumrow, the director of Teachers On The Rise. “We only have two more months left in the school year to nominate teachers, so we encourage students and families to get their nominations in soon.”
Winning teachers receive a $100 Market Street gift card, a $100 American Express gift card, and a gift basket full of Mrs Baird’s goodies. Students who nominate a winning teacher also receive a $50 American Express gift card.
