Market Street & Mrs Baird’s Bread honor three North Texas area teachers as
Teachers on the Rise for February
FRISCO, Texas — The United Family and Mrs Baird’s Bread® announced the February winners of the fourth annual Teachers On The Rise program. Since the launch of the program in August, nominations have poured in from students and families across North Texas highlighting how teachers go above and beyond the call of duty, deserving special recognition.
Congratulations to our winners from February: Shelby Newman of Old Settlers Elementary (Lewisville ISD), Ashley Emmons of Coppell Middle School East (Coppell ISD), and James Behlen of Coppell High School Ninth Grade Campus (Coppell ISD).
“We are thrilled for this round of winners,” said Abie Rampy, director of public relations for The United Family. “Teachers serve such a vital purpose in our communities and they are incredibly deserving of recognition. With less than three months remaining, we encourage students to keep nominating their favorite teachers every month!”
“We know great things go on in area classrooms year-round,” said Shane Sumrow, the program’s director. “That’s why we accept nominations through the end of school. So now is a great time for students and families to let us know how educators go above and beyond to make an impact.”
Winning teachers receive a $100 Market Street gift card, a $100 American Express gift card, and a gift basket full of Mrs Baird’s goodies. The students who nominate a winning teacher also receive a $50 American Express gift card.
