ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — On Thursday, Albertsons Market and the United Family presented Storehouse New Mexico with a check for $32,460.30. These funds were raised through a donate-at-the-register campaign.
Whether it’s through Take a Bite out of Hunger or other donations, Albertsons Market and the United Family have been consistent supporters of Storehouse New Mexico and their mission to combat hunger in New Mexico communities.
“We are so proud to continue our tradition of support for Storehouse New Mexico,” said Travis Chaney, RVP for Albertsons Market/The United Family. “I’m so thankful to our loyal guests who helped us raise these funds. We know just how much these donations mean to the organizations who fight hunger and the families they serve.”
All of the funding the Storehouse receives benefits New Mexico families and individuals who receive food assistance from them. The Storehouse provides nearly 2 million meals annually to people across the state, making them the largest food pantry in New Mexico.
