AMARILLO, Texas — In early July, The United Family launched a donate-at-the-register campaign in Amarillo and Lubbock to raise funds for disaster relief efforts across the panhandle following the devastating impacts of severe weather, flooding, and tornados. With the campaign at its conclusion, United is set to present a check for the total to representatives with the Amarillo Area Foundation on Tuesday, August 1 at 11:30 a.m. at Market Street (2530 S. Georgia).
In addition to guest contributions, The United Family also committed to matching $10,000 for the campaign. Media is invited to attend the presentation for a photo op and interviews with representatives from both The United Family and the Amarillo Area Foundation.
