ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albertsons Market and Market Street will join The Food Depot and Roadrunner Food Bank for check presentation events following a 12-day statewide donate-at-the-register fundraising campaign. Media is invited to attend the check presentation to Roadrunner Food Bank on Wednesday, July 5 at 3:00 p.m at Albertsons Market (7800 Enchanted Hills Dr. NE, Rio Rancho) as well as the check presentation to The Food Depot on Friday, July 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Market Street (600 N Guadalupe, Santa Fe).
The fundraiser ran in all Albertsons Markets and Market Street locations across New Mexico. The proceeds from guests’ donations are going directly to support the missions of The Food Depot and Roadrunner Food Bank.
The work of The Food Depot and Roadrunner Food Bank serves tens of thousands of people experiencing food insecurity every week, and these organizations are vital components of the communities they serve.
