MANSFIELD, Texas — On Wednesday, May 17, Mansfield Mission Center will join with Market Street and other community members to celebrate their new Mission Market food pantry and a $50,000 donation from the Market Street grocery store team to help fund its operation. The event will take place at Mansfield Mission Center at 10:00 a.m.
The Mission Market provides free food for hundreds of area residents each week thanks to the generosity of local donors and community members. The $50,000 investment from Market Street has allowed for facility expansion and increased nutritional resources for those in the community who need it most.
Media members are welcome to attend the event for brief remarks from various representatives as well as photo opportunities of the facility, a ribbon-cutting, and check presentation.
