The United Family will pay front line associates in stores, e-commerce delivery, distribution centers and manufacturing plants a temporary per hour increase for time worked.
The United Family, which operates under the retail banners of United Supermarkets, Market Street, Amigos and Albertsons Market, announced today an Appreciation Pay program to all hourly retail team members. Effective with this week’s paycheck and extending through next week, all hourly retail team members, e-commerce teams and those hourly team members at RC Taylor distributing and Praters manufacturing facility, will receive Appreciation Pay for time worked beyond their regular hourly pay and overtime.
“Our retail teams, along with distribution and manufacturing facility team members have been on the front lines of keeping the supply chain moving and our stores ready to serve guests. I couldn’t be more proud of their work and their attitude,” said Sidney Hopper, president of The United Family.
